Putting to rest the rumors about the Prison Break season 5, the Fox Network has finally decided to bid farewell to the Prison Break TV show. It was 2005 when Prison Break was first aired on Fox Network with a very surprising and unique plot. Series dealing with a man getting incarcerated to help his brother escape from prison was liked by viewers and critics both. But everybody assumed that the show would not go very far as it looked impossible to elongate the storyline beyond two seasons.
Shaking off the speculations, Prison Break did very well in its four season long run. In the first season of series, Lincoln and Michael were seen breaking the prison brilliantly and the success of the first season of Prison Break opened the doors for the next season of series.
Following the trend of success set by the first season, series entered into its second season. There're 22 episodes in the second season of Prison Break and it follow the success of first season, chronicling the events of lives of characters after jail break. During this season, some new characters were introduced and with second season, Prison Break once again did a marvelous job.
Creators of the show managed to hold our curiosity and interest at its peak and brought Prison Break back with season 3. Once again, things continued after the second season finale, as in the previous case. Watching Prison Break season 3, viewers observed that season 3 was as different from season 2 as season 2 was from season 1.
Series then returned with fourth season, the one which show is currently running with. Ultimately, now, after realizing that Prison Break doesn't have anything more in its magic bag, Fox Network has decided to bid adieu to Prison Break TV show.
From the last one month, viewers were getting rumors about Prison Break season 5; some were sure about series' return whereas others were saying that Prison Break was about to get over. It's the Fox Network which sorted out the matter by officially announcing in US that Prison Break is finally coming to an end. Fourth season would be the last one in Prison Break's quiver and the battle is finally over!
Season fourth has some more episodes, likely to be aired in the mid of April, 2009. Most probably, Prison Break would pick up the stuff from April 17. As of now, fans are eager to watch the way they have planned the end of the show. Imagining how a four season long drama would come to an end is not a kid's play!
Whatever would be the end, it's in no doubt that Prison Break has secured a very huge fan base and the success it acquired is extraordinary in true words.... Prison Break sort of dramas are made once in a blue moon!
